Compliance status

By our own assessment Vianora is largely compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. No external audit has taken place so far.

Measures taken

All functions can be operated with the keyboard, focus is always visible and a skip link leads to the main content.

Status is never conveyed by colour alone: every level also carries a glyph (● ▲ ■ ○) and written text.

Form fields are labelled, error messages appear as text next to the field, and the interface remains usable at 200 percent zoom.

Non-accessible content

Generated PDF files are not tagged and are therefore of limited use with screen readers. All figures are available in the interface.

Wide data tables in the protected work area require horizontal scrolling.

Legal basis and enforcement

The basis is the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and its ordinance (BFSGV), implementing Directive (EU) 2019/882. The benchmark is the harmonised standard EN 301 549 in conjunction with WCAG 2.1 level AA.

If a reported barrier is not remedied, the joint market surveillance authority of the German federal states for the accessibility of products and services (MLBF), based in Magdeburg, can be involved.
